Kids With A Cause, a non-profit entity founded in 1999, was created to empower youth by providing them with unique hands-on philanthropic experiences. There have been hundreds of special activities designed to offer kids (ages 6-18) opportunities to lend a helping hand to less fortunate children and teens. Whether visiting children in hospitals, singing for visually impaired/blind children, delivering positive and powerful messages to foster youth, interacting with developmentally delayed children or serving a meal to homeless youth—Kids With A Cause has touched the hearts of thousands worldwide.

We believe that humanitarian efforts—even at a young age— can have a significant, and possibly lifelong, impact when experienced first-hand. The youth behind Kids With A Cause volunteer countless hours to bring smiles to all they meet. They take pride in offering a hand-up (rather than a hand-out) and encourage children to believe in themselves and their dreams for a brighter tomorrow. This approach to "interactive acts of kindness" empowers both the Kids With A Cause youth volunteers as well as the recipient children and teens. They make a difference, and often times create lasting memories, in each other's lives.

Our initial steps continue to be the direction we follow today: to enhance the lives of children who are less fortunate by embracing philanthropy early in life. Over the years, we have seen young children grow into caring and compassionate adults. It has always been our intent to provide enriching experiences that encourage young philanthropists to recognize the importance and the impact of giving back— and continue their humanitarian efforts into their adult years.

As time goes by, it is important for Kids With A Cause to reflect on our past successes while creating our future goals. It is also important to take a look at the needs of children and teens today and prioritize projects with those needs in mind. Each new day brings new opportunities to reach out and help someone. Kids With A Cause is currently taking the necessary time to ensure that our programs and services address the challenging issues facing today's youth... tomorrow's leaders.
