Who We Are
Founded in 1999 by Linda Finnegan, Kids With A Cause is a non-profit organization designed to teach the principles and practices of philanthropy to today’s youth—tomorrow’s leaders. The kids behind the organization are mainly young performers in the Entertainment Industry (film, television, stage and music) who recognize how fortunate they are and understand, even at young ages, that it is never too early or never too late to volunteer time, lend a helping hand and encourage others to do so, too.

What We Do
We listen to our Youth Representatives and Ambassadors tell us about causes that are important to them. We then research organizations and develop projects that address specific needs. Kids With A Cause schedules time to meet and interact with the recipient youth (infants to teens) and prepares fun, creative and beneficial activities—enjoyable for all ages.
In our first ten years, we implemented over 350 projects in 8 different countries. Kids With A Cause has touched the lives and the hearts of thousands of children around the world.

How We Help
Kids With A Cause develops specific and unique projects for each recipient organization. We focus on enriching the lives of less fortunate kids and teens. We visit and interact with children in hospitals, group homes, orphanages, homeless shelters and many other social service agencies. We also travel to various places around the world and lend a helping hand to children who have endured the tragedy and loss from a natural disaster such as an earthquake, fire, flood or tornado.
Through our creative and interactive programs, kids participate together and discover how they make a difference in lives of each other. It is our belief that these enriching experiences can foster caring and compassionate individuals and encourage them to continue their humanitarian efforts into their adult years.
